  2. Understand and appreciate the compared outcome measures of Inpatient Rehabilitation versus Subacute Rehabilitation
  3. Increase understanding of the patient’s journey through Inpatient Rehabilitation


About the Presenter

Dr. Sachin Mehta, MD, is the Medical Director of the Acute Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit at Franciscan Health Indianapolis.  Dr. Mehta attended medical school and completed his residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Indiana University School of Medicine.  Prior to moving to Indianapolis, he was Director of Inpatient and Outpatient Brain Injury Rehab at Marianjoy Rehabilitation Hospital/Northwestern Medicine in Chicago.  He is one of only four physiatrists in Indiana with a subspecialty certification in treating individuals with brain injury.   Dr. Mehta is a strong proponent of a teamwork approach to care. He is passionate about patients and physicians working together to achieve the best possible functional outcomes for patients to enhance their quality of life.
